This bootcamp is targeting anyone who is interested in understanding the fundamentals of EEG (from neurophysiological signals to various setups and analysis methods) and conceptualising within the discipline of psychology. The general introduction on day one will be followed by a more specialized theme on the second day on the benefits of EEG research in social and cognitive neuroscience with focus on ERP methods in language and emotion.
The expert instructors are leading researchers in their field. Together with the ANT Neuro specialists, they will guide the participants all the way from the introduction to broader applications, the principles of experimental design, data acquisition and analysis step. During the practical sessions, the participants will be in supervised groups acquiring data and gaining a thorough hands-on experience to help them start with their own future experiments. The Essex EEG Bootcamp is particularly suited for early-stage researchers or established researchers that are new to the field of EEG. This bootcamp is an educational event co-organized by University of Essex (department of Psychology) and ANT Neuro as a leading neurotechnology provider of EEG equipment for high-precision research and clinical applications.
